Description

ULTRACAST® PRIME – Advanced single-component polymer binders based on an aqueous colloidal solution of silicon dioxide stabilized in an alkaline medium.

Formulations are supplied ready-made and do not require introduction of additional additives. Composition is optimally selected to obtain the best rheological properties of slurry and characteristics of ceramic shell.

Description and advantages:

ULTRACAST® PRIME binder provides high speed and uniformity of ceramic shell drying due to use of an improved type of polymer bond in the binder. New type of polymer bond allowed for a 30% increase in strength of ceramics in green state, which ensures high resistance of shell against cracking during drying and dewaxing. Particle size of polymer is optimally selected to ensure the best gas permeability of shell, and balanced rheological properties that can help to reduce quantity of coats applied and increase thickness of ceramic shell by up to 20%. To improve control of drying process, the PRIME binder contains a drying indicator in its composition.

Transportation and storage conditions

Store in polymer containers with a tightly closed lid, in a dry, heated room. Storage and transportation at a temperature of at least + 5 ° C. If product is constantly exposed to temperatures above 35 °C, its shelf life may be shortened.
